Seeking help regarding an X-ray diffractometer

We plan to purchase an X-ray diffraction analyzer in the near future. Please share your suggestions: what parameters should be taken into consideration, what are the things to keep in mind, and how should we make a choice and conduct an evaluation? And how can we determine whether the device configuration is reasonable?

It would be best for the original poster to start by reading a book that provides an introduction to X-ray analysis, as there are many different types of such analyzers with varying applications. Some of these analyzers are used for analyzing large crystals or crystal phases, while others are used for compositional analysis; there are also portable versions designed for on-site use in detecting common materials； In terms of application accuracy, there are those for research purposes as well as those for routine testing and analysis. It would be best for you to gain a thorough understanding of your specific application before asking questions, as I don’t think many people are familiar with this type of analyzer. Or you can inquire with some institutions that have such analyzers.
