Questions about the two flow displays

As shown in the figure, a measurement point has two flow rate displays. What is the relationship between FT-44010A and FT-44010B? Why take the average of the two? Note: This flow meter is a vortex street flow meter.
How to explain it? Could you be more specific?

There are applications for vortex flow meters with dual sensors and dual displays. PI A is the average of A and B from the field signal, while PI B is that average value plus temperature compensation.
