Question: How exactly does the two-out-of-three logic work? For example, does it output 1 when both inputs are 1, or does it output 0 when both inputs are 0? I would be extremely grateful if the experts here could share their insights; thank you!
Add a voter to the outputs of the three modules. As long as the outputs of any two of the three modules are identical, the output of the voter is the \"AND\" function of the outputs of those two modules. In this way, even if one of the three modules fails, the entire system can still function properly.
May I ask: what are the three modules? Is its output represented by 1s and 0s? For example, if two transmitters indicate a trigger interlock, what are the outputs of these two transmitters: 0 or 1? Thank you!
Under normal conditions, the value for the three groups is 0; if the second group is damaged, the value is 1, and in that case the output is 1. As for whether it should be triggered by 0 or 1, just add a NOT gate afterwards according to the process requirements.
As for whether the output is 1 when both inputs are 1 or when both inputs are 0, this is determined by the process requirements, not by whether you want it to be 1 or 0
