After installation, the signal of the electromagnetic flowmeter fluctuates, ranging from 0 to the full scale, with frequent fluctuations. On two identical platforms, one of them experiences less fluctuation and is relatively stable. After adjusting the parameters, signal processing is primarily carried out to eliminate interference; as a result, the signal fluctuations are small (the signal is artificially reduced), but the deviations in the measured values are relatively large. What could be the possible reasons for this phenomenon?
Possible reasons include: 1. The electromagnetic flowmeter is affected by external electromagnetic interference, resulting in signal fluctuations. 2. The fluid may contain bubbles or solid particles, which affect the flow meter’s measurements. 3. The conductivity of the HCL medium may be non-uniform, affecting signal stability. 4. The installation location of the flow meter may be inappropriate, and the fluid flow conditions cause signal fluctuations. 5. Internal faults or damage to the electromagnetic flowmeter, such as electrode corrosion or insulation layer problems. 6. The flow meter is not compatible with the medium being measured, or it has not been installed in accordance with the correct installation requirements. .
1. The transportation distances or flow rates of the flow meters on the two platforms are different. 2. Grounding and shielding issues: Is there any generation of static electricity during the material transfer process? 3. Replace with a tantalum electrode.
