Is this a double-flange flushing ring, or a drain valve? When purchasing a double-flange level gauge, should it be bought together with this or separately?
This is a double-flange flush ring interface. But manufacturers generally only provide it up to the welded short tube
Since it has double flanges, there’s no need to install anything else; flanges are already easy to clean and prevent clogging
This should be the interface reserved for flushing, used by the flushing ring
Rinse ring; it appears necessary to use a hose for rinsing
Shouldn’t a flushing ring generally have two interfaces? One inlet and one outlet; this interface can’t be rinsed either.
The part that needs to be flushed is the pressure tapping stub, and the flushing medium should be miscible with the process medium.
The flushing ring is installed at the flange to facilitate flushing
This is the port for flushing or purging; the fluid used for flushing goes into the equipment, so there’s no need for an outlet
