I would like to ask everyone: since the outdoor temperature at the site can drop to minus 40 degrees, should I choose hard-sealed or soft-sealed valves for use there?
Choose based on pressure and medium; for low temperatures, soft seals like graphite should work just fine, right?
1. Soft-sealed versions also exist in materials that are resistant to low temperatures. 2. When comparing the ambient temperature with the material temperature, the design selection should take into account the lowest and highest temperature values. Perhaps the temperature of the material medium is lower than the ambient temperature.
