Why doesn’t this solenoid valve operate when powered by 24V? The same problem occurred with two other units. Are there any requirements regarding the intake pressure? 0.4 kPa and 0.6 – basically all of those have been tried.
You’re not using the signal provided by the signal generator, are you? :An O-signal generator isn’t capable of driving this, not even one with a lower power output of 1.8W
It can’t be that the trachea connections are wrong, right? When the connections are incorrect, air flow occurs between the inlet and outlet when there is no power supply, while the inlet and outlet are separated when power is available
Is the intake pressure really only 0.4~0.6 Kpa? Did you check that the unit is correct? And regarding what you mentioned about no movement: is it the case that power is supplied but no air comes out of the outlet of this solenoid valve, or is it the entire single-acting pneumatic valve that isn’t moving?
It’s because there is no air at the outlet of the solenoid valve when power is applied; a multimeter shows a voltage of 24V. Now I’m wondering if there’s a problem with the voltage coming from the central control unit. I’m going to try using a voltage source this afternoon.
It’s very likely that there is a loose connection somewhere in the 25VDC circuit, which results in insufficient current flow in that circuit; although the voltage reaches 24VDC
Is there any way to determine where the loose connection is?
Once you’re sure the wire numbers are correct, use needle-nose pliers to check all the connections in the entire 24VDC circuit. Excluding the two terminals inside the solenoid valve, there shouldn’t be more than 10 terminals in the control room IO card, right?
