Our factory has a sedimentation tank; after the suspension settles, it is pumped out through the valve at the bottom of the tank for drying, while the upper clear liquid overflows into the next tank. What is required now is a certain settlement height inside the tank. What methods or instruments can be used to determine the height of the settled material level inside the tank?
