Dear Haiyou, a flow meter was installed on the pipeline; it was installed in June, and there is no instruction manual. Now, it is necessary to connect a signal cable to the control system in order to display the flow rate. The cable has already been laid – it’s a two-core shielded cable. Could you please help me figure out how to connect this turbine flow meter? ? ? ? There was no manual, so I contacted the customer service of Shanghai Ziyi, who provided a manual for a different model. The image below shows photos as well as the wiring terminals I drew myself; could you please help me figure out how to connect them? In the upper right part is the R485 communication interface, and below it there is a terminal with three dots
The value displayed in the header now indicates battery power
There are no instructions. There was a minister in charge of this before, but he has been gone for two months yet the installation isn’t complete, and no instructions were left behind
Does the control room only need current signals? Or a frequency signal? The battery is providing power; it functions like a 4-wire instrument. You can try connecting a 250-ohm resistor in series with the milliampere range of the multimeter between I0 and GND to check whether there is any current output. If the power comes from the control room side, it should be possible to use a 2-wire system; try connecting I0 and 24V+.
Thank you. I’ll go and give it a try to see if there is any current output. I’ve checked all the terminals earlier and there’s no series resistance. Also, if connecting it to the center control unit, does one need to connect a passive node?
