Thread Content
This post was last edited by Sean. on 2017-8-27 07:44. Experts, does anyone know what the thread size is on the pressure gauge of the DVC6010 valve positioner? I’ve received a batch of orders recently. There are 200 pressure gauges on the DVC6010 valve positioners inside. The customer also doesn’t know what the thread size is; is it 1/8 NPT???? It’s not convenient to conduct on-site measurements due to the long distance. I hope the experts can give some advice. Thank you so much! ! !
It should be NPT1/8, but it’s impossible to confirm; the manual for Fisher’s DVC6000 doesn’t specify the pressure gauge values, as the pressure gauge is built into the positioner.
If it’s not specified, I guess it’s a 1/8R thread; if it’s NPT, it should be indicated

In a situation like yours, it is recommended to buy two types of internal threads online – one of type NPT and the other of type RC or G – and send them to him so that he can try threading them together to see if they fit.
If nothing goes wrong, it’s likely to be the NPT model, as everyone knows that it performs well. Well, we also have this type of locator; I really didn’t pay attention to its exact dimensions. When it breaks occasionally, we just take parts from older locators to fix it. . .
For Fisher locators, all those I’ve used are 1/8NPT, and there’s no problem with that.
