Why does a negative value appear when measuring resistance with a digital multimeter? Is the true value of its measurement the negation of this negative value?
Was the power turned off when measuring the resistance? If there is a negative voltage in the circuit, a negative resistance will be measured
The original poster, first tell us how you did the measurement The resistance setting on a multimeter is generally a simple ohm-meter circuit; connecting a load resistor increases the resistance of the circuit, and it’s impossible for a negative value to be obtained. I think there must be something wrong with the way you’re measuring.
Resistance cannot be negative; there are other factors causing interference. Either the measurement method is incorrect; to measure resistance, the power must be turned off and it must be disconnected from other furnace equipment
