In the Pcs7 system, the analog signal (4-20ma) circuit for the instrument is open circuit – why does the DCS show a maximum value? Shouldn’t it be the minimum?

As the title suggests, is there anyone who can help answer this? Thank you!
It is possible to set it to indicate maximum/minimum values in the case of an open circuit or fault, or to retain the value measured before the fault occurred
The answer is above – it can be set manually. Options include fault indication, display of maximum and minimum values, or keeping the values as they are; some systems even allow for more detailed customizations
The background configuration allows setting whether to use the larger or smaller value in case of a fault.
