Pressure alarm value setting problem

There are several remote pressure transmitters on site whose high alarm value setting is the same as the upper limit of the measuring range of this meter. There is also a remote pressure transmitter whose interlocking value is the same as the upper limit of the measuring range. I would like to ask if this setting is reasonable. Are there any standards and instructions for setting the alarm value and interlocking value?

The measuring range and normal operating values of the instrument are recommended values and are not mandatory. The alarm value is generally determined by process requirements, so if the process thinks that the upper limit alarm does not matter, the instrument cannot tell.
