DCS card parameters -- Seeking professional English assistance

I majored in chemical engineering, and there are some specialized terms related to DCS technical parameters that I don’t understand (mainly things like whether such a feature exists and what impact it will have on the cards) I would like to ask everyone: How are Common Mode Voltage, Normal Mode Rejection Ratio, open wire detection, and short circuit detection generally implemented? Could everyone please help answer? Thank you.

Generally, it’s better for English words to have a complete context before and after them in order to be translated properly. I saw this in the product manual; by comparing the two modules, I noticed differences between the first and second items. They are all analog input cards. (The performance of other parameters is the same.) ）
