Hello, expert. I would like to ask if there are any inspection standards or specifications for pressure transmitters. This is a hydrogenation plant where the pressures are quite high; removing the transmitters for inspection and then reinstalling them poses certain risks. Moreover, shutting down the operation just to carry out these removal tasks is also very time-consuming. If there are relevant specifications, we will follow them; otherwise, we won’t conduct any inspections. Thank you for your advice

The pressure transmitter can only be calibrated without being removed; it cannot be standardized as there is no standard pressure source.

Internal verification can be carried out within the company, with data recorded in verification sheets; the frequency of such verification depends on the rules set by the company. For items that are not subject to mandatory inspection, external verification is generally conducted during major maintenance cycles. It is not mandatory for companies to do this; generally, they carry out self-verification. Everything was found to be defective.
