A floor heating manifold consists of the following components: manifold, collector, filter, valves, air release valve, lock valve, union fitting, internal fitting, and heat meter. Basic classification: Based on function and structure, distribution collectors can be divided into three types: basic type, standard type, and functional type. Basic type: Composed of a water distribution main and a water collection main. Ball valves are installed at each branch outlet of the main water distribution pipe, and manual vent valves are also installed on the main water distribution pipe. The basic type of diverter does not have a flow regulation function. Standard type: The structure of the standard type manifold is the same as that of the basic type, with the difference being that the ball valves on each main pipe are replaced by flow control valves. Replace the manual exhaust valves on the two main pipes with automatic exhaust valves. Standard manifolds allow for precise adjustment of the flow rate in each circuit; even the luxury standard manifolds offer flow rate control via artificial intelligence. Functional type: In addition to all the functions of standard manifolds, functional manifolds also feature temperature and pressure display, automatic flow regulation, automatic mixing and heat exchange, heat energy measurement, automatic control of temperature in different areas of the room, as well as wireless and remote control capabilities. To prevent rust, manifolds are generally made from corrosion-resistant metals or synthetic materials. Common materials include copper, stainless steel, nickel-plated copper, nickel-plated alloys, and high-temperature resistant plastics. The inner and outer surfaces of the manifolds (including connectors, etc.) shall be smooth, free from defects such as cracks, sand holes, cold shuts, slag inclusions, and unevenness. For connectors with electroplated surfaces, the color shall be uniform and the coating shall be secure, without any signs of peeling. Uses of floor heating manifold valves: 1. Firstly, a manual air release valve is installed on the floor heating manifold valve, and it needs to be adjusted at the start of each heating season; air may accumulate in the pipes during this adjustment process. Users can move the exhaust valve by themselves to release the gas in the pipeline, thereby ensuring smooth geothermal heating. 2. Filters are installed at the front end of each floor heating manifold. Before the heating season begins, it is necessary to remove the filter screen at the bottom of the filter, clean it, and then reinstall it in order to keep the geothermal pipes clean. 3. If the homeowner is not at home for an extended period during the heating season, it is necessary to reduce the main valve of the distributor (reducing water flow helps to avoid energy waste), but it must never be closed completely. If you will not be living there throughout the winter, it is recommended to drain all the water from the geothermal pipes to prevent them from freezing.
