The purging device blows air into the pipes or equipment at the location of the pressure transformer; logically, this should lower the temperature of the equipment or pipes. According to the pipeline specifications, valves are required to be able to withstand temperatures equal to or higher than the design temperature of the pipeline. According to the regulations for pipes, the valves must be able to withstand temperatures equal to or higher than those of the pipes. If the temperatures of the pipes and equipment are extremely high, could we place the valves further away so that a less resistant material can be used?
The gas used for sampling and measurement doesn’t require temperatures of over 1,000 degrees Celsius, and it’s usually inert gas – where does such a high temperature come from? Besides, the temperature of your furnace walls can’t possibly be over 1000°C.

However, the temperature at the measurement points is high – should we go by that higher value?
