During use, Fisher valve positioners may encounter several types of faults. There’s no need to panic when such faults occur; by identifying the cause of the problem, it can be resolved effectively. Below are some summaries we’ve prepared for you. I. The Fisher locator has no input signal but the output signal remains at its maximum level: 1. The nozzle is blocked. 2. The output pressure is slow or abnormal. 3. The zero adjustment of the pneumatic amplifier baffle is set too low, causing the baffle to press too tightly on the nozzle. II. The Fisher locator has an input signal but no output signal: 1. The air supply pressure is incorrect; it is recommended to check the pressure at the air source. 2. If the electromagnet assembly fails, it is recommended to replace it. 3. The positive and negative poles of the input signal wire for the Fisher locator are reversed. 4. Blocked gas path or incorrect gas path connection (including the amplifier). 5. The zero adjustment of the pneumatic amplifier baffle is set too high, causing the baffle to be far away from the nozzle. III. Poor linearity of the Fisher locator: 1. There are foreign objects in the nozzle or baffle. 2、There is a slight leak in the back pressure of the Fisher locator. 3. The feedback cam or spring is improperly selected or oriented. 4. The feedback linkage mechanism is not properly installed or gets stuck in certain positions.
