Guys, how do you decide whether to use 2x1.5, 3x1.5, or 4x1.5 for instrument cables?
It can be determined based on how many wires are needed by the electrical equipment. The wire diameter is determined based on power consumption, that is, based on the power level. Does one still need an expert to figure this out? You little guy should be fine. Why not ask the craftsmen around you?
A 1.5 gauge wire is usually fine for instrument wiring; as for the number of conductors, it depends on the instrument – it generally depends on how you plan to connect the wires
