DCS card issue

For one reactor bed layer, there are 4 temperature sensors; the design institute suggests using 2 out of them. So, can these 4 temperature sensors be accommodated on two cards? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
This is a design issue; logically, they should be separated
Sure, but the temperature for each interlock needs to be entered into different cards; 2 cards will suffice
How is a four-channel temperature sensor implemented with 2OO2… two groups of 2OO2? ? It’s fine to place DCS on one card or two cards; actually, DCS doesn’t have many requirements ； For SIS, it needs to be considered... analyze each specific case on its own……
2×2 is a strategy with the highest security but the lowest availability. It offers the highest level of safety – no errors are permitted; whenever a problem occurs, the system will trigger a stop ； It has the worst availability – if any error occurs, the system can no longer function. So, using one card or four cards makes no difference in terms of performance.
There are no requirements for DCS, right?
Two cards, four would be even better, haha
