There is a Promass 300 Coriolis mass flow meter on site; the contractor chose a single current output when purchasing it. The current output is flow rate. How can this sensor simultaneously send both density and flow rate signals to the host computer? Please let me know if you have used it.
By contacting the manufacturer, is it possible to replace the output board so as to achieve multi-output functionality, or is it possible to enable communication? Do you mean that the general contractor assigned them as the construction party?
This requirement for output density should be specified at the time of ordering; otherwise, an output terminal for it generally won’t be provided. If HART communication is supported, the density can be viewed on the handheld controller. If multiple parameters are required, then a communication port is necessary.

If the module on the DCS side supports Hart communication, it can be read. Otherwise, it’s better to send it back to the factory for modification.
