As shown in the figure, the steam flow meter has three small cross-valves; I’m not sure what each one controls, the one in the middle and those on the sides I have a gentle question: if I want the steam flow rate not to be displayed on the DCS, which of these three valves should I close? Thank you
Close the valve marked with H on the left of the image – it is the high-pressure valve; the one marked with L on the right is the low-pressure valve. The one in the middle serves as a connecting valve. When both sides are closed, the value in the middle will be 0

Is setting the DCS to zero done for zero-point calibration? To calibrate the zero point, the balance valve should be turned on for both positive and negative values.
Close the two sides and open the middle; open the drain plug to release the residual pressure in the positive and negative pressure chambers. If the residual pressure is not released, values will still be present. If there is still a value remaining after the residual pressure is removed, it indicates that the zero point of the gauge has shifted; check whether the diaphragm is damaged
