According to current regulations, gas monitoring points are required to be installed at the outer perimeter walls of the plant. What measures would you take if the distance from such a point to the cabinet room exceeds the values specified by the manufacturer (for example, 800 meters or so)?
If the gas alarm uses a bus system, it is recommended to use an optical fiber converter for conversion; if it employs a 4–20mA signal, then direct connection is sufficient. It is advised that the gauge diameter of the wires used be no less than 1.0 mm2.
