I’d like to ask everyone: generally, is Modbus used for monitoring or for control? If it’s used for control, what aspects need special attention?
Communication is generally not subject to W control; it is only used for monitoring, as the risks to security and reliability are too high

For the control of critical nodes, hardwiring is a more reliable option. It’s not impossible to use communication methods for controlling regular devices as well; it’s best to use universal communication protocols in such cases.
Communication is generally used for monitoring. Analog signals and digital on/off signals are manageable, but the accuracy of pulse signals cannot be guaranteed. For control purposes, hard wiring is considered more reliable; this is based on personal experience. Please let me know if there are any mistakes
That was a product from an era when communication was underdeveloped; it’s not necessary to use it.
