In a certain operating condition, the medium tends to self-polymerize, and the resulting polymers can adhere to the side walls of the float. However, the client insists on using side-mounted magnetic level gauges; as a result, it is necessary to install a purging device to regularly purge the level gauge. Has anyone used magnetic level gauges with a purging function? Are there any details to keep in mind?

Why use a contact-type level gauge? Can’t a non-contact one be used?
Yes, root valves cannot be used; plug-in types can address issues such as medium self-polymerization and crystallization. For normal operation, there is no need to remove the level gauge for inspection – it can be inspected along with the rest of the equipment
