I have a question about SIS

I’ve run into a problem recently: regarding how to pronounce the system, DCS is pronounced as “D”, “C”, “S””； ITCC is also read as “I”, “T”, “C”, “C”, along with GDS, ESD, PLC, etc., but the SIS system is pronounced as a single word. There’s also the MIS system – is this purely a matter of convention, or is there some underlying reason for it? I would also appreciate the guidance from my seniors.
I’m used to connecting them all if possible. ;P
The SIS system is usually pronounced as “SIS” rather than letter by letter, mainly because SIS (Safety Instrumented System) being a technical term, there is a unified pronunciation convention established within the industry*. And MIS (Management Information System) is also usually read as “Aimais” due to common pronunciation habits. There is no particular origin for this way of pronouncing it; it is more based on practicality and convenience. .
