I would like to ask what are the requirements for instruments in the baijiu industry; is it sufficient to simply specify food-grade ones? I’ve never seen this type in the samples provided by manufacturers; only the sanitary version is available. The manufacturing process doesn’t seem to require such high standards of sanitation, so I’m not sure how others handle it
Actually, instruments don’t have a “food-grade” classification; this is because instruments are not intended solely for the food and beverage industry. The sanitary grade imposes requirements on the connection method; transmitters used on wine tanks all feature standard threads. I’ve seen several samples of sanitary-grade transmitters that do not use threaded connections.
