I would like to ask the experienced experts on this forum. What is the technical name of that disc on the control valve, and what is its function? There’s also a small hole in the coiled mountain – what is it for? Thank you, expert predecessors, for clarifying this for me

I think this is a very user-friendly design – it’s a tray that makes it convenient for inspection personnel to place their phones, tools, and other items. A tribute to product designers.
