I recently came into contact with a type of working condition; more specifically, it’s a new industry. The production of precursors for battery cathode materials involves, in simple terms, solid salts; for ternary precursor materials, these are nickel-cobalt-manganese hydroxides of the formula NixCoyMn(1-x-y)(OH)2. Ternary composite cathode material precursors are made from nickel salts, cobalt salts, and manganese salts, with the ratio of nickel to cobalt to manganese (x:y:z) being adjustable according to actual needs. It needs to be mixed in a certain ratio; strict control over the proportions is required, as well as real-time monitoring online. This fits perfectly with my area of expertise in solid flowmeters. After talking with the customer for a while, they were extremely pleased and hoped to find a suitable application for it soon.
