Can a power distribution cabinet be placed in the UPS room?

In UPS rooms with a capacity of 40KVA or more, there are battery acceptance specifications that state such rooms should be designed to be explosion-proof, and no switches or sockets should be installed there. Has anyone done this before? Can a power distribution cabinet be placed here?
What standards? Could you send them over for a look? Explosion protection is really strange.

The explosion protection specified is due to the fact that batteries release hydrogen gas, so explosion protection is necessary. The regulations indeed require that the battery room take this issue into account.
