I think it’s a flaw that someone who works with instruments isn’t able to calculate orifice plates; unfortunately, I really can’t understand it by reading books on my own, so I thought I’d ask for some advice
The best way to learn is to find several calculation sheets for orifice plates used by companies, use the parameters from those sheets, and perform the calculations as described in them. Then check whether your results (the diameter of the orifice plate) are similar to those in the calculation sheets
