Due to the company’s new project, we need to purchase a high-temperature density meter. I asked Emerson, and they said their devices can only withstand temperatures up to 200 degrees, but the materials I’m working with require a temperature tolerance of 280 degrees. I would like to ask if anyone here is familiar with any brands of density meters – top-tier brands, both domestic and international, are acceptable. Thank you all! !
It is recommended to use a ray-type densitometer; although it sounds intimidating, it is indeed the best choice for harsh conditions and requires almost no maintenance.
If it is a fluid in a pipeline, the density can be measured using a mass flow meter, and there are high-temperature versions of such meters

I had originally considered buying a mass flow meter, but due to budget cuts, I was unable to go with the option of a vortex flow meter combined with a density meter. However, since the temperature of the fluid in question is high and high precision from the density meter is required, it’s likely that I’ll end up choosing a mass flow meter after all.

If possible, use a bypass for online measurement! Reduce the diameter of the mass flow meter to save costs.
