The mass flow meter outputs mass, right? Mass and standard cubic volume are related by a simple mathematical formula that involves dividing by the density under standard conditions. There must be some logic inside, right? It seems like a simple logic; it’s okay if you don’t do it by yourself outside as well.
The volume of most mass flow meters is not given in standard cubic units; to obtain the standard flow rate, the volumetric flow rate must be corrected using other auxiliary instruments such as temperature, pressure, and density. This calculation is usually carried out by a host computer (flow computer) using built-in formulas.
