It’s a saturated steam flow meter; the pressure is around 10 kilograms. There is no remote temperature sensing, and the measurement range is unknown. The process reaction indicates a value of around 6T, so the DCS was set to a range of 10T, at which point the reading was 6T. After half a month of use, the flow meter continued to show zero even when it reached the full scale. Since it cannot be removed from the installation site for cleaning, does anyone with experience have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue? Thank you
Looking at this image, it seems that the gauge doesn’t have any insulation, and the transmitter is right above the heat source. I suspect that the transmitter’s circuit board may actually be faulty, but there is no fault alarm.
Check what the fault output of the instrument is
No fault diagnosis information; I checked the menu as well, but nothing could be seen
The gauge shows 0, and the menu frequency remains at a fixed value
Steam uses orifice plates and wedge types; vortex flow meters have not been used
There is a sensor inside the neck area below the table header; it needs to be removed and replaced – the sensor is likely damaged.
When measuring steam, the gauge should not be positioned directly above the pipe; it can be installed at a 90-degree angle or upside down. It’s likely that the operation manual doesn’t provide particularly detailed instructions.
