I would like to ask whether it is compliant to use yellow-green wire for connecting the grounding of the cable shielding layer in a DCS system

Is it compliant to connect the shielding layer at the root of the multi-core cable with a 6m2 yellow-green wire and ground it using this same yellow-green wire? Are there any standards? Thank you!

This approach is too bizarre; such a method wouldn’t occur to most people, so it’s very likely that there are no regulations stating that it’s not allowed. Since the shielding layer is already inside the cabinet, why not connect it directly to the grounding bus bar inside the cabinet? Or was it constructed on-site with the shielding layer already removed? If it’s the latter, no one will say yes, unless you do it completely secretly.
