. The protection box of the flameproof transmitter does not need to be flameproof. An explosion-proof protection box and an explosion-proof instrument box are not the same thing. I understand that explosion-proof protection boxes are different from explosion-proof boxes for instruments. Now, customers of flameproof differential pressure transmitters want to add explosion-proof protection boxes for them; I don’t think this is necessary, and it’s quite inconvenient to disassemble and assemble them in case of a failure. Consider the climate and environmental conditions at the installation location; protective enclosures are sometimes used to protect against cold, heat, humidity, dew or frost, as well as dust accumulation. An explosion-proof protection box may be needed when certain transmitters do not have the appropriate explosion-proof certification; in such cases, an explosion-proof box that meets the requirements of the surrounding environment is used.
