Is there a significant difference in temperature and pressure resistance between valve spool materials 304 and 316?
The valve core is not subjected to pressure; only the shell flange is under pressure, so it is necessary to check the temperature and pressure curve.
There isn’t much difference at room temperature: lol
It’s rare to design the valve core using 304 material; it’s just unnecessary trouble. A valve core weighs only a few pounds, so there’s no need for such complexity in this regard.
