What parameters need to be set for flowmeters/radar level gauges/analytical instruments/pressure transmitters? For details, see Attachment 2; the Excel file can be downloaded. Automatic control instruments
1. Flow meter: The parameter settings for a flow meter include the type of flow meter, range, pulse constant, sampling time, filtering mode, and other parameters. 2. Radar level: The parameter settings for a radar level gauge include the type of gauge, range, thermometer calibration, alarm thresholds, and other such parameters. 3. Analysis instruments: The parameter settings for analysis instruments include calibration parameters, alarm limits, range selection, and other such parameters. 4. Pressure transmitter: The parameter settings for a pressure transmitter include output type, range, pressure type, filtering parameters, and other such settings. -
Now, instruments are moving toward intelligence, resulting in higher intellectual costs for factories, while such costs are decreasing for engineering projects. Quick installation, intelligent use – everything is pre-set both at the factory and on-site. To reduce labor and operational costs, we generally require that instruments be ready for use as soon as they are installed, and that they function accurately without breaking down; that’s the ideal scenario. In the past, many instruments required calibration after purchase, had high installation requirements, were not accurate in operation, and would break down over time, eventually being phased out.
