Why are pH meters so unreliable? The inaccuracy rate of our pH meters is over 90%! In other words, out of 10 pH meters, 9 are inaccurate or wrong. (That one with the glass tip that goes in from the top of the jar)

Improper calibration: pH meters need to be calibrated regularly; if the calibration is done improperly, it can also lead to inaccurate pH readings. It is recommended to calibrate and maintain the pH meter regularly to prevent the occurrence of the above problems. At the same time, it is also important to choose reliable brands and suppliers of pH meters. .

A short or unstable lifespan indicates that you need to optimize and improve it; it cannot be used in a conventional manner. 1. The temperature should not be too high; it is best to lower it below 60 degrees. 2. The pressure should not be too high; it’s best to keep it below 2 kilograms. 3. The flushing intensity should not be too high; increase the flow cell and perform replacement using static flow. 4. Choose a product suitable for the operating conditions. Yes, proper selection and correct usage are key; although imported products are more expensive, they have a much longer lifespan than domestic ones.

There is not much of a problem with the secondary transducer itself; the key is to choose the probe carefully. The lifespan of a pH meter is barely half a year, and it needs to be calibrated each time it is replaced. Those in poor working condition need to be cleaned regularly. The rest depends on factors such as the mixing condition of the materials or whether the operating conditions on site are harsh.
