Selection issues for high-pressure pressure gauges

This post was last edited by zzcqiang on 2018-5-1 20:32. Issue regarding the selection of high-pressure gauges: Is it acceptable to use 316L material for gauges used in high-temperature and high-pressure hydrogen environments?
1. 437°C – such a high temperature! It’s high enough to cook human flesh to death, turning it into a mummy; there’s no doubt about that. . . . . . 2. The temperature is high; for pressure measurement and cooling, the pressure tube needs to be extended several meters, with its end being at normal temperature. 3. At room temperature? Use 316L – that’s quite luxurious. . Aluminum or iron will work just fine. . . Nuclear weapons and large aircraft – all of them have aluminum shells. Hydrogen gas cylinders, on the other hand, have iron shells. . Right? :P.
Cool it down first, then use a gold-plated film box. There are two purposes: one is to protect the silicone oil, and the other is to prevent hydrogen embrittlement.
The temperature definitely needs to be reduced – use a gold-plated, thick-walled gauge box! A ceramic diaphragm pressure transmitter can also be used!
