How many sensors are needed for temperature measurement of the three-phase motor stator windings (2 per phase)? I see 9 sensors? I can’t figure out this number; could everyone please help me understand it?

The last edit to this post was made by Technology and Economy Review on 2019-7-9 at 11:32. Based on the high-voltage asynchronous motors encountered in current work, the three-phase windings of the main motor usually require 2 sensors per phase, for a total of 6 sensors; these are single-point, single-sensor type temperature sensors, namely platinum resistance thermometers, with 3 of them in use and 3 as spares. Since the temperature measurement of a motor’s three-phase windings can only be done during the manufacturing process of those windings, it is pointless to have extra spare parts aside from the 3 or more units that are installed before the motor leaves the factory. This is what I have encountered in my work; I’m not sure if there are any special cases.
