The redundant PLC 410-5H exhibits this behavior for some unknown reason; the CPU indicator lights on the left flash continuously, and no specific fault is indicated in the hardware diagnostic information. The issue is resolved by turning off the power and then turning it back on again, and sometimes several restarts are required. I would like to know under what circumstances this happens – the cause has not yet been identified
There can be various reasons for the CPU indicator light on a redundant PLC to flash continuously, including but not limited to the following: 1. Power supply issues: Unstable voltage or current supply to the PLC, or sudden power loss, can cause abnormal functioning of the PLC. This possibility can be ruled out by checking the stability of the power supply and the protective measures in place. 2. Software configuration issues: Improper programs or parameter settings for the PLC can also lead to abnormal failures in the PLC. It is possible to determine whether there are configuration issues by checking the PLC’s programs and parameter settings. 3. Bus communication issues: In a redundant PLC system, bus communication between PLCs is a very important aspect. If there are problems with bus communication, it can also cause abnormal failures in the PLC. This possibility can be ruled out by checking the communication status between the PLCs. 4. Environmental interference issues: Environmental interference is also a cause of abnormal failures in PLCs. This possibility can be ruled out by checking the electromagnetic field around the equipment and implementing measures for static electricity protection. In short, to resolve the issue of all CPU indicator lights flashing in redundant PLCs, it is necessary to consider multiple factors and rule out each possibility one by one. It is recommended that you have relevant technical personnel conduct a thorough inspection and analysis. .
This is difficult to investigate; without any diagnostic information, one can only check each module one by one to see if there is any abnormal voltage entering.
