For the field of engineering design instruments, have any applications for invention patents been filed?

As the title suggests, I’m in the instrumentation field and work in engineering design; I currently need to file an invention patent application. Are there any experts who have applied for patents before? Looking for some inspiration; areas such as fine chemicals and coal chemistry are both fine
Utility models are relatively straightforward, but the requirements for invention patents are quite high; it’s best to consult a specialized patent application agency.

After all, the field of engineering design for instruments is a practical application-oriented field, not one focused on research and development; we simply choose the instruments that are available. Since it’s not an instrument manufacturing factory, I feel there’s no clear direction – I don’t know how to proceed
The department needs it; other majors have submitted invention proposals. It wouldn’t be appropriate for me to come up with a utility model – it would be too embarrassing. But our major isn’t a research-oriented one like those of other majors; we are an applied-major. We just choose whatever instruments are available. After all, we’re not an instrument manufacturing factory, so I don’t really know what direction to take or how to proceed. The organization where I work has agencies that can provide guidance, but I’m not able to determine the topic at the moment. I asked around for someone to write it on my behalf, and it’s very expensive; moreover, no authorization is included

Instrument engineering design generally falls outside the scope of intellectual property patents, but it can be classified under software copyrights. I worked on such design projects in an engineering company around 2010; in those cases, you provided the necessary materials and entrusted them to a professional agency. A software copyright certificate can be used by companies to apply for recognition as high-tech enterprises, or by individuals to apply for professional title evaluations. If the design falls within the scope of what could be covered by a utility model patent, it should not be overlooked; however, since February 2023, the Intellectual Property Office has implemented strict controls over patent applications submitted by individuals, resulting in a high rejection rate. Therefore, it is advisable to submit applications in the name of a company whenever possible. For reference only.
Thank you for your reply. The company currently needs invention patents; it’s necessary to apply for them. The company has agencies that can handle such matters, but they won’t write the applications on our behalf. If you know of any agencies that can do this, could you recommend them to me?
