What does the response mode of a Fox positioner mean? What does it mean when the locator alarm shows GGRR?
What model? Aren’t there several models that have indicator lights inside the locator to indicate their function?
There are instructions on the cover of the Fox positioner: GGRR refers to the warning lights – green, green, red, red; find the corresponding instructions for those warning lights
As far as I know, Foss offers two types of locators: the Log520 and the 3200MD, and their alarm indicator lights are different!
The 520 does not show green, red alerts; the 3200MD shows green and red indicators for Squawk Mode On/Off. When enabled, it indicates that the user has set the locator to flash in a specific order for visual positioning. This mode can be canceled by briefly pressing the quick calibration button, and then selecting the transponder mode remotely or more than one hour after the command is issued.
