I built a full-featured HART handheld communicator because the HART handheld communicator I used before had very few menus, just the zero point unit of the range, and many functions were unavailable. The manufacturer of this handheld communicator says it supports DD analysis and can support all HART instrument detailed menus. It can completely replace the imported Trex. It also comes with DD menu translation. Emerson's Trex device communication handheld terminal includes built-in functionality to power the device. Simply connect the communicator to a loose instrument to power it. Don't waste time finding a power source or confirming adequate loop resistance before testing. Powering the Trex device isolates it from the rest of the system, helping to identify installation issues including power, wiring, I/O cards, or configuration.
I have used TREX before, and it is pretty good. It is similar to a handheld computer, but it feels slower to respond than HART475 in actual use. The function menu is very complete, and many instruments and equipment on site can communicate and process.

Several meters I have tested so far include E+H, Siemens, Schneider, Rosemount transmitters and Fisher positioners, all of which have private menus and detailed settings (not just a simple parameter menu like Qianbabai’s domestic 475), especially the locator DVC6 200. There is no power supply at the site. The built-in current signal generator can directly power the locator, which is very convenient for debugging (I bought a cat from another domestic company before for a few hundred yuan and installed a mobile APP, but it only has simple menus and parameters. The power supply page only has built-in 24V and cannot power the locator). In addition to the built-in 24V, this one also has a built-in current signal generator. I like it!
