The site is going to be overhauled; after the insulation of the steam system is removed, this is what you see – three valves, three different colors. Reduce 3.8 MPaG steam to 1.0 MPaG steam.
Steam pressure reduction valves are used to reduce high-pressure steam to the desired low-pressure steam. During on-site maintenance, the insulation layer must first be removed in order to inspect the valve. Valves come in different colors, possibly to distinguish between different pipes or processes. What is mentioned here is reducing the steam pressure from 3.8 MPaG to 1.0 MPaG. .
I’m not quite sure what you mean – the three colors aren’t right?
Try it manually to see if it works well, check whether the pneumatic pressure reducing valve leaks, and see if it is easy to adjust in normal use. If it works well, don’t disassemble it; just rust-proof and paint the manual valve. If you have money, you can build as much as you want.
The higher the temperature, the faster it will paint off. It should start out silver-colored; it might also be a problem with the paint itself
It would be a waste to simply reduce the temperature and pressure given such an excellent steam heat source; it’s better to install a back-pressure turbine unit to generate electricity using it. If you're interested, feel free to message me privately
The color doesn’t matter; as long as the quality is good, that’s fine. Are the control valves of the tooling good?
There is a question: when the pressure is reduced from 3.8 Mpa to 1.0 Mpa, the pressure difference becomes 2.8 Mpa; it’s likely that it will be difficult to find a suitable model for the pneumatic control valve used in the tooling. (The pressure difference is high, requiring a large torque for adjustment.) Achieving such a large pressure drop is difficult using just one pneumatic control valve. It is highly likely that for this pipeline, the opening degrees of the two valves at the beginning and end of use are relatively small, which makes operation during startup and shutdown rather troublesome. (Pressure monitoring should also be installed in front of the first valve and behind the third valve.) No sampling points are visible in front of or behind the middle valve. )
Using a sleeve control valve can also reduce noise.
The one with paint uses high-temperature resistant paint, and the cost of this kind of paint is estimated to be 1,000.
