I remember there used to be dedicated discussion threads for Yokogawa DCS back in the day; are they gone now? The Yokogawa DCS is widely used in various industries and applications across China. There are many questions that need to be answered. It is recommended to restore.
I remember that there used to be a forum member who had a column dedicated to addressing technical issues related to Yokogawa Electric’s DCS systems. I vaguely recall that the discussions covered topics such as YEMpak, Centum XL μXL CS, and later models like CS1000 and 3000. The content ranged from the fundamental architecture to configuration settings, as well as operation, maintenance, and upgrades. That forum member’s expertise was on par with that of Yokogawa Electric’s chief technical engineer. That column from a few years ago can no longer be found; presumably this internet friend is now of advanced age and no longer bothers to take care of it. Yokogawa’s DCS systems must also have a high market share and usage rate in China at present.
It is recommended to restore it to provide learning materials for future scholars.
