Why make it so complicated? Did the manufacturer copy the parameters during installation? After installing the new locator, you can perform self-tuning using the hand controller or buttons.

Online replacement is not necessarily allowed for self-tuning ones. Sometimes the valve cannot be moved too much arbitrarily.
