If there is a need for feedback from the valves, that feedback as well must be transmitted using intrinsically safe methods. Also, there are no requirements in our country for mechanical explosion protection at the moment; the explosion protection rating of a valve should be determined based on the explosion protection rating of the signal components installed on it. It’s best to ask the valve manufacturer about this.
