Selection when there is agitation: In tanks with agitation, it is generally not advisable to use guided-wave radar. The forces generated by the agitation can easily pull the cable of the guided-wave radar into the propeller, or bend the rod of a rod-type guided-wave radar. Therefore, one can only choose contactless horn-shaped radars that operate at high or low frequencies. If the lowest liquid level at the site is above the stirring propeller, it generally has no impact on measurement. If the lowest liquid level is below the stirring propeller, it is necessary to use the false echo function to filter out the signals reflected by the propeller, thereby ensuring that the propeller is not considered as a target during measurement. II. Selection under vacuum conditions: Under vacuum conditions, the boiling point of a liquid is much lower than it is at standard atmospheric pressure. Many liquids begin to boil at 30-40°C. That’s how it is with the reaction vessels and evaporation tanks in pharmaceutical factories: when there is no vacuum, the liquid remains calm; but once a vacuum is created, a liquid layer that is 1 meter deep can rise to a height of 3 meters, filled with boiling foam and tiny water droplets.
